First Aid Course Level 1.
The curricula covers scene management including triage. Elementary and applied anatomy and physiology.
CPR and choking: including adult, child and infant response. Management of catastrophic bleeding and burns as well as causes of unconsciousness such as strokes, shock, diabetes and epilepsy. Management and packaging of fractures, splinting and immobilisation. Management of head and chest injuries. Management of environmental emergencies including poisons, bites and stings.
